8 minutes. Presenting student and faculty talent, this promotional film was used to recruit students and raise funds. WTVS.


A WHITE COAT IS WAITING
16 minutes. For Children’s Hospital of Michigan, a resident recruitment video, which was sent across the country to graduating medical students to interest them in doing their pediatric residency at CHM. Resulted in the most successful match the hospital had in more than fifteen years. Originally produced in 1989, the video was updated in 1993.

7 minutes. A music video celebrating economic development and growth in the City of Detroit.

5 minutes. Promotional video for Detroit Metropolitan Convention And Visitors Bureau.


AMPS: Electric Power Just Add Heat
5 minutes. A marketing video for Advanced Modular Power Systems Inc. Highlighting the AMTEC unit, a deep space power supply that will be used in future NASA missions.


ARCHITECTURAL UPDATE
13 minutes. Produced for the American Institute of Architects.
An educational video to inform the public about the vital role architects perform in shaping our structural world and environment, and to encourage the use of licensed architects.


CARING FOR THE WORLD: THE STORY OF WORLD MEDICAL RELIEF
12 minutes. A portrait of 83 year-old Irene Auberlin and the World Medical Relief organization which she founded.


DETROIT MEANS BUSINESS
23 minutes. Produced for the City of Detroit and used worldwide to sell the Detroit as great place in which to do business. Among the 22 special guests in the film are such people as Lee Iacocca, Roger Smith, A. Alfred Taubman, Max Fisher and Peter Stroh. Shown at meetings and conventions. Videos were sent to countries around the world.


DETROIT ON THE MOVE
14 minutes. Produced for UTDC and SEMTA to introduce the planned people mover. WTVS, WDIV.


DMCVB PROMOTIONAL VIDEO
3 min. Short video combining SBXL footage and other great Detroit area images.


ENVIRONMENT TODAY
15 minutes. Produced for Envotech, using the "Entertainment Tonight" format, the video profiles this state of the art company and describes the methods in which Envotech manages the safe disposal of hazardous waste.


FOAMADE INDUSTRIES
10 minutes. A marketing and training video for this large manufacturing company. The video explains the history, philosophy, and the day to day operations to current and new employees.


GET A LITTLE CLOSER
3 minutes. A music video with an original song promoting beautiful Traverse City and the Leelanau area in Northern Michigan as a great place to visit. People, places and things are intercut with a recording session. Features Herbie Russ on sax and vocal with Marcus Belgrave on trumpet. Produced for the Traverse City Convention and Visitors Bureau PBS.

GIRLS AND GIVING
13 minutes. Inspired by The Michigan Women’s Foundation Young Women For Change, the Michigan Girl Scout Council initiated a Girl Scout Patch In Philanthropy which is being adopted by the national Girl Scout Council.


GREENBOOK 6.1
15 minutes. For the Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University internal medicine residency program, the video showcases the internal medicine program and highlights the Detroit Metropolitan Area for those who are considering a residency in internal medicine. Sent to medical students around the country to attract candidates to the Detroit Medical Center.


IT’S A GREAT TIME IN DETROIT
3 minutes. A music video with an original song composed for the Metropolitan Detroit Convention and Visitors Bureau using their campaign slogan. Fast moving scenes of the Detroit area are intercut with scenes of the recording session. vocalist Ortheia Barnes and Michael Brock sing duet with Alto Reed on sax. PBS and all area stations.

JUST FOR KIDS
9 minutes. An orientation video for Children’s Hospital of Michigan, introducing the hospital and its staff to pre-school and elementary children. Live animation creates a fun, exciting and innovative program which is both entertaining and informational.


JUST IN TIME
10 minutes. Produced for the City of Detroit to interest auto suppliers worldwide to move closer to the new General Motors Assembly Plant in the heart of Detroit, to be part of the "Just In Time" assembly operation.


MAKING THE DIFFERENCE
10 minutes. A video designed to improve the image of nursing in the Detroit Medical Center. Nurses on and off camera in a wide variety of hospital activity tell their stories. Quick cuts and fast paced music give it a cinema-verite feel.


MEETING THE CHALLENGE: A HEALTHY FUTURE FOR THE DMC
10 minutes. A conversation with former President and CEO, David Campbell of the Detroit Medical Center, viewed by their 16,000 employees.


METRO AIRPORT, YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW
10 minutes. A public information video for Wayne County Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Geared to the general public and airport passengers to explain construction and expansion plans. Shown daily at the airport.


MORE THAN JUST A GAME
5 min. Exciting, fast paced video showcasing the people, places and events during SuperBowl XL week in Detroit. Produced for Super Bowl Committee and Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau.


PEOPLE WHO CARE-SHARE
5 minutes. Produced for Michigan Bell for their corporate United Foundation campaign. Resulted in the most successful fundraising campaign in the company's history.

3 min. Video shown to 6000 volunteers at Ford Field.


THE TEAM THAT DELIVERS
16 minutes. For Hutzel Hospital. A video to recruit OB/GYN physicians to join Hutzel Hospital, Detroit’s oldest women’s hospital located in the Detroit Medical Center.


THIS IS MY HOME - THIS IS DETROIT

25 minutes. Produced for the City of Detroit to promote the city and its neighborhoods. A musical tribute to the people who live in Detroit. Distributed through local libraries and the City of Detroit Public Information Dept. WTVS, WDIV and WXYZ.


TRIBUTE TO THE QUEEN
6 minutes. A memorial tribute to legendary minister and Detroit radio personality, Martha Jean "the Queen" Steinberg who died in January, 2000.


WELCOME TO DETROIT
2 min. Video shown on various kiosks and at the airport during Super Bowl week.


WINNING WAYS
11 minutes. For Wayne County. A video profile of outstanding citizens who are honored for their contributions to the community.


YOU CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE
9 minutes. A successful fundraising video for Life Directions, Inc., an organization that provides educational alternatives and emotional support to urban students who are "at risk." Shown to various funding organizations in an effort to gain financial support.


YOUNG WOMEN FOR CHANGE
6 minutes. Presents one of the most outstanding program’s of the Michigan Women’s Foundation in which groups of high school girls make decisions about giving grants to worthy non-profit organizations which support programs for women and girls.


YOUR FUTURE STARTS TODAY
20 minutes. Explains the generous four to one match in the retirement plan offered by Wayne County to its employees to motivate them to invest to the maximum in Wayne County’s Defined Contribution Plan 4. It illustrates the importance of planning for retirement.
