30 minutes. Documentary about the nationally acclaimed
Michigan summer youth employment program. Produced for WTVS in Detroit
and broadcast nationally on PBS. 1983

PARTNERSHIP
15 min. In the late 40's and early 50's, General Motors loaned
engineers to work with doctors at Detroit's Harper Hospital to help
develop a mechanical heart. This partnership produced the GMR-Dodrill
Mechanical Heart Pump resulting in the first successful open heart
surgery in the world which was performed at Harper Hospital in 1952. 2006

Irwin Groner, a respected voice and commentator on the value of

10 minutes. A video which showcases a unique approach to treating
people with a mental illness. It highlights the group homes established
for them and the programs available to assist their families. 1996
KIDSPACE
25 minutes. Documents how - against all odds - a quality on-site child
care center was developed in the historic Wayne County Government
Building in downtown Detroit. Of particular interest is the fact that
two top county executives, both men, were primarily responsible for
developing KidSpace and making it available to all working parents in
Wayne County, one of the largest counties in the United States.
